All Girls Clinics

At our All-Girls Clinics, we focus on building strong fundamentals. From perfecting shot form and improving ball-handling skills to making smart, efficient passes, our goal is to help each player grow in every area of the game.

During our most recent clinic, we organized three skill-specific stations—defense, shooting, and finishing which allowed players to work in smaller groups for more personalized instruction and hands-on development. There’s no better way to reward the girls for their hard work in the stations than by ending the clinic with a scrimmage tailored to their skill level!

3v3 Toy Drive Tournament

Our Boys 3v3 Holiday Drive Tournament brought together basketball, community, and giving during the holiday season. In partnership with the San Mateo Police Activities League and the Good Tidings Foundation, participants donated a new toy to enter the tournament, helping spread holiday cheer to local families in need.

More than just a day of competition, this event was an opportunity for members of the UPB community to come together, share their love for the game, and make a positive impact off the court. By combining basketball with community service, the Holiday Drive Tournament celebrated the strong connection between hoops and the holiday season while encouraging young athletes to give back and support those around them.

1st-3rd Grade All Girls 3v3 League

Our 1st–3rd Grade All-Girls 3v3 League was designed to help young athletes build confidence, develop fundamental basketball skills, and feel comfortable on the court in a fun and supportive environment. Each session included 15 minutes of skill development training followed by 45 minutes of game play, giving players the opportunity to immediately apply what they learn.

The league was about more than just basketball. Along with teaching the fundamentals of the game, our UPB trainers focused on motivating and empowering young girls, helping them develop confidence, resilience, teamwork, and a love for the game that extends beyond the court.
